Training Progamme

Cocker Spaniel Puppy

Dog training doesn’t solve all behavior problems, but it is part of the foundation that we have put in place. Training opens up another line of communication between you and your dog.

In the comfort of your own home, Pauline will teach you how to achieve a balance and understanding with your dog.

With the right training you will have a dog that everyone admires because she walks well off-lead as well as on; a dog who will come when called with her tail wagging. She will have manners and social skills, respect for family members and for visitors. No matter what age your dog is, it is never too late to teach her.

A well trained dog is a balanced, happy companion. She can show great affection and is likely to have just one home: yours. Communication is how you teach your dog what you want her to do. You can teach her anything including ’stay’ (don’t move until I come to you), ‘wait’ (don’t move until I call you to me), ’sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’ (recall) and ‘heel’.

Learning your dog’s language and teaching her yours is the best thing you can do for her … and for you.

When you take the time to teach your dog to:

  • walk nicely on the lead
  • have manners
  • be friendly
  • have good recall
  • be respectful
  • not be aggressive
  • not bark unnecessarily
  • be calm in a distracting environment

you will have a settled, calm, and respectful dog.
